That would be interesting... Yakupov would be sick beside Tavares. Can't even begin to think what that would cost.

Probably Moulson, your pick, and something else.

Where are the Isles picking this year?

They're picking at 4. And I could live with it being any Islander not named Tavares or Hamonic, although I wouldn't be crazy about trading Moulson.

I don't think it would be the worst decision for Edmonton to move down 4 spots.

If it's Moulson, Edmonton could get another top line player, and they could justify taking Murray, Dumba, or Trouba on D, where they really need help.

So do the Islanders, which is why I doubt it would be Hamonic.

not moving down and getting a Dman would be the dumbest decision they could make at this point.

I love how the sixers guards in successive trips shot a brick and an air ball

Thats a lot to give up for Yakupov. Its not like he is Crosby or Ovechkin coming out of junior.

That is fine ,but if you don't give up a good Dman then you probably be drafting 4 th.

if they get a top 6 forward, there's no reason to not trade down a bit and pick one of the top D that they want anyways.

Edmonton does not need forwards , go take a look at their roster.

I think I'd bite on Moulson and the 4th pick for #1. Moulson scores 30+ each season and he plays 82 games each season...which means something in Injurytown (Edmonton).
